Floating is a pleated paper that is used in the middle ply of cardboard sheets. This ply absorbs impact and withstands physical and static pressures applied to the carton. Therefore, the strength of this type of paper is critical to the quality of the finished carton.
Pardis 112-gram floating paper, also known as P, is used as a special use paper due to its lower weight than other floating papers on the Iranian market and by preserving the strength parameters.
It should be noted that because of this paper’s water absorption property, it can be used to make cold store cartons.
